The ABB MagMaster is an electromagnetic flowmeter, suitable
for all applications found in the water and wastewater industries. It has a
submersible sensor that can be flooded, for example in chambers or pits, and
can measure diameters from 15-2200 mm (0.5-84 inches).
The fact that the sensor can be buried ensures fast and low
cost installation, and the MagMaster is also ideal for wastewater treatment
works due to its FM, CSA and ATEX hazardous area approvals. It has a built-in
earthing (grounding) electrode, so no flanges are required, and a 2-year manufacturers
warranty as standard. These attributes have helped establish the ABB MagMaster
as the de facto industry standard electromagnetic flowmeter. It has an unsurpassed
accuracy and an operable flow range of 1500:1. This makes it suitable for accurate
measurement of widely varying flow rates, or minimal night flows.
