Readings are secured with the integrated AUTO-READ™ which locks in stable readings on screen and the ready indicator alerts when readings are stable. Complete with an integrated Multilanguage feature supporting English, Spanish, French, Italian, German and Chinese makes the unit suitable to be used by anyone.
Complimentary data analysis software, USB and RS232 ports make transfer and update of data easy and up to 1000 data points can be stored in the memory along with date and time. Automatic temperature, manual salinity and automatic/manual barometric pressure compensation mean accurate results are always given. Calibration can be completed using a Winkle titration, water-saturated air, air saturated water or zero point calibration.
Another advantage of the Orion Star A223RDO/Dissolved Oxygen Portable Meter is that the meter automatically recognises and accepts Orion polarographic and RDO optical/luminescence-based probes meaning DO probe compatibility is not a problem.
As with all the Orion Star range this meter can be powered either with four AA batteries which give up to 800 hours of power or by purchasing a universal power adapter to run off AC power, plus is covered by a 3 year warranty replacement.
