Event Testing on Level TROLL 300 & 500 Instruments!
Users of the In-Situ Level TROLL® and AquaTROLL® 200 instrument range will now be able to use event testing. This measurement mode is ideal for scenarios where it is difficult to predict events and monitor relationships with rapid datalogging: for example, rising water levels during floods or storm events.
The user is able to collect data by specifying user-defined conditions such as rising or deccreasing levels, temperatures or conductivity. When an event threshold is exceeded, data is recorded at an increased user-specified interval.
To add this feature to an existing Level TROLL 300 or 500* instrument, a firmware update is required. To do this, you can visit the In-Situ website, download Win-Situ 5 and upload the firmware to your Level Troll.
* Level TROLL 500 users must have hardware version 1.0 or greater to be able to receive the upgrade.
