The new TR1 is a highly accurate temperature and relative humidity (RH) sensor with excellent long-term stability for a very competitive price. The temperature/RH sensor is protected from direct sunlight by a professional radiation shield which also provides sufficient ventilation. The outer white surface of the solid UV resistant elements reflects radiation, while the inner, black elements inside absorb the accumulating heat. This unit gives excellent long-term stability and is virtually maintenance free.
To reduce sensor drift, eliminate corrosion and to maintain accuracy over a long period of time, the TR1 temperature/relative humidity sensor has a protective coating which keeps dust and dirt off the surface of the humidity sensor element. A plastic cap with a metal screen shields both sensing elements against insects, chemicals and all kinds of dirt.
The TR1 temp/RH probe is supplied completely assembled with its 5-element radiation shield, mast mounting gear for poles with a diameter of ~40mm and a 3m cable with 7-pin Binder connectors for Adcon RTUs.
