Overview
The Orion Star A222 Portable Conductivity Meter has the advantage of a large backlit LCD display which clearly shows conductivity/ TDS/resistivity and temperature whilst also displaying electrode status, time, date and calibration points.
The Orion Star A222 Portable Conductivity Meter is fitted with a standard salinity curve for salinity readings and Linear or ISO/EN 27888 curves for TDS. There are also linear or non-linear curve options with selectable reading reference temperatures of 15, 20 or 25°C.
Data is easily transferred and kept up-to-date using the USB and RS232 ports and complimentary data analysis software. It has memory capacity to hold up to 1000 data points recording time and date. Selectable cell constant allows 2 or 4 cell conductivity cells. Readings will never be missed with the AUTO-READ™ which locks in readings on the screen and the ready indicator alerts when readings are stable.
The handheld meter supports English, Spanish, French, Italian, German and Chinese with the advantage of clear screen prompts and easy to use keys make updated information easy to obtain. The additional benefit of being housed with an IP67-rated casing, waterproof and being able to run from AA batteries which provide 800 hours of operation or the option to purchase the universal power adapter to use AC power is another quality making this piece of equipment versatile and portable.
