XGS868i

The XGS868 is a complete ultrasonic monitoring system for the mass measurement of saturated steam and superheated steam. The XGS868 has many advantages. It creates no pressure drop, requires very low maintenance, has no moving parts and provides reliable, drift free operation.

The XGS868 can be installed directly at the flow measurement point as the electronic components are housed in a compact transmitter package.

The onboard computer is able to calculate the steam mass flow rate once the flow velocity has been measured and the pressure and temperatures have been input.

A dual channel model of the XGS868 is also available which provides greater accuracy when measuring across two paths on the same path. The dual channel transmitter can also be used to measure flow rates in two separate pipes in a cost effective manner.

The XGS868s transducers do not obstruct the flow inside the pipe so generally cause no pressure drop. ?

PanaView software can be used with the transmitter to communicate with a PC.
