Technical Sales Specialist - Groundwater & Geotechnical - SOLINST
Location: Midlands
Basic Salary: £based on experience
Commission/Bonus: £uncapped
Benefits: Pension, Laptop, Mobile

You will be responsible for selling our range of Solinst water level and remediation equipment across the UK and Ireland. You will be responsible for developing sales at RS Hydro across all business sectors and will ideally have experience of Solinst instrumentation.
This is a superb career opportunity for a high potential individual to join RS Hydro. Reporting to the MD, you will form part of an expanding team, your role will be to manage, develop and find new national key accounts. You will be a highly experienced sales engineer or manager looking to take in the next step in your career. An uncapped commission scheme will ensure that you reap your potential. Experience in marketing and and a proven track record in sales will be required.

Area Sales Engineers
Location: Southern, Midlands and Northern UK
Salary: £dependent on experience
Benefits: Company Pension + Car + Uncapped Bonus Structure

To develop our business further and to provide the support our clients already enjoy, we are looking to recruit various motivated sales engineers across the UK to join our sales team.

As a sales engineer you will have an understanding of the flow, level and water quality instrumentation although all you will require an in-depth knowledge in at least one of the above product types. The candidates must be self-motivated and focused on a achieving sales targets and providing excellent customer support within a rapidly growing business. Extensive opportunities exist for career development in a rapidly growing business.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in sales and technical support; ability to develop new and existing clients
  • In depth knowledge in one of the following disciplines: flow, level, water quality and hydrology
  • Good qualifications
  • Effective communicator with ability to make presentations
  • Full driving license
  • Self-motivated
  • Specific knowledge in ultrasonic flow metering (open channel and pipe flow) would be an advantage although full training is provided
Responsibilities
  • Develop new and existing clients
  • Regional field support and commissioning of instrumentation
  • Exhibitions and presentations

Field Technicans
Location: Midlands
Salary: £14,000-£20,000 depending on experience

We are currently looking to recruit field technicans with experience in at least one of the following: flow measurement, surface/groundwater hydrology, and water quality. You will work with our field engineers and project managers to undertake project work throughout the UK.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in flow measurement and hydrological applications.
  • Good qualifications - preferably to A-Level or Degree but not essential.
  • Resourceful and have ability to think on your feet and understand complex applications
  • Full driving license
