To support continued growth, we require a proactive Sales Engineer to further develop our water quality business mainly in the UK and Ireland. The successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary along with an extremely rewarding commission structure that is tied in to achievable targets. A company car and the usual tools to carry out a business development role are also included in the package.

The role involves selling water quality instrumentation to the Water, Environmental, Industrial & Process companies across the UK. You will be supported by a strong back office and source of leads but you will be also need to develop your own leads & open doors for yourself using your own initiative.

Through maintaining contact with your existing customer base, you will manage existing accounts whilst developing new customers for the business and where you identify gaps in our range you will identify and on board new suppliers and partners to work with.

The successful candidate could have a background in Industrial Instrumentation, water chemistry, academic research, effluent monitoring/discharge, environmental monitoring, water quality and be confident in discussing technical products to customers.

Field Engineer / Technician (Water Technology)

We are a total solutions provider for the water and wastewater, environmental, food and beverage, mining, aggregates, petrochemical, power generation and research industries for the UK and worldwide. We are specialists in flow meters, water quality monitoring instruments, water sampling equipment, groundwater monitoring, water level loggers, weather stations and wireless telemetry systems.

This is down to unique instrumentation and experience for difficult applications.

POSITION: Field Engineer / Technician 

Location: Bromsgrove, Worcestershire with travel across the UK to customer sites

We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated Field Engineer / Technician to build, install and maintain their equipment on customer sites throughout the UK. Your base would be at our Bromsgrove headquarters and you would be required to work at customer sites throughout the UK, with overnight stays away from home.


a) Working with the Operations Manager to plan your weekly work schedule.

b) Repair, calibrate, service and trouble shoot on site equipment covered by their maintenance contracts.

c) Prepare all necessary equipment for the installation e.g. build panel(s).

d) Determine the appropriate siting and positioning of the installation.


a) Have an HNC or equivalent in Instrumentation, Electrical or Electronics discipline or substantial relevant experience.

b) A Working at Heights certificate, CSCS, Water Hygiene and Working in Confined Spaces certificate, however appropriate training will be provided along with product training.

c) Hold a full UK driving licence.

d) Have an ability to organise you own work and manage own time effectively.

e) Reliable and do what you say you're going to do.

f) Confident, friendly and a practical hands on person.
