We are pleased to announce the attendance of Geosonic Drilling who will be providing a live borehole drilling demonstration in the grounds of the Chateau Impney. Geosonic Drilling are our approved driller installer in the UK & Ireland and have expert knowledge of Solinst CMT Multilevel Systems.
Randy Blackburn of Solinst Canada will also be joining us. With the emphasis purely on training and interactive hands on practical sessions, this training session is unmissable.

Randy Blackburn, is the Product Manager at Solinst Canada Ltd. He has a B.Sc. degree in Earth Sciences from the University of Guelph. Prior to joining Solinst in 2002, Randy worked as a hydrogeologist in the consulting industry. He brings with him, over 20 years of practical experience in related geo-environmental studies conducted around the world. Projects have included site assessments and characterization studies, monitoring system installations, water supply, equipment development and testing. In addition, Randy is experienced in geotechnical consulting techniques, and he has experience in geological exploration programs. It's this related experience that customers draw from - providing suggestions on their site specific needs for surface water and groundwater monitoring applications.
Who Should Attend?
Anyone involved in groundwater monitoring, from hydrogeologists, consultants, technicians through to practitioners. Everyone will learn something new during the day.
The Location?
Training will take place at the Chateau Impney Hotel in Droitwich just 2 minutes from M5 Motorway, Junction 5. We will be making the most of the gardens and river outside with the majority of our demonstrations being held outside. Complimentary tea and coffee will be available throughout the day and a buffet lunch will be provided.
