Overview

The Orion Star™ A212 Conductivity Meter features selectable cell constant enabling use with two or four conductivity cells along with selectable reading reference temperatures of 5, 10, 15, 20 or 25° with linear, nonlinear, nLFu or EP curve options all for the purpose of gathering accurate results. Linear or ISO/EN 27888 curves for TDS and a choice of practical salinity or natural sea water curves for salinity readings.

FAQ's

Total dissolved solids (TDS) is a measure of the combined inorganic and organic substances dissolved in water. It is directly related to the electrical conductivity of water and as such can be used as an indication of change.
TDS is only relevant in freshwater systems as salinity will dramatically increase the conductivity and therefore apparent TDS.
