The Isco flow-through chamber is ideal for large plants with multiple sampling points spread over a wide area. This patented device (Patent # 5,341,690) makes "dipper" type samplers obsolete and eliminates time-consuming trips to remote monitoring sites to retrieve samples. Installing flow-through chambers on transfer lines from monitoring points within your plant enables the collection of samples in one convineint location.
The Isco flow chamber can accommodate flows of up to 6.3 liters/second (150 GPM). The patented ?stinger? probe collects samples from the middle of the flow stream, enabling the use of a much stronger pump to circulate the sample to the chamber. There?s no flow stoppage as required with a dipper sampler and weir, and an increaced flow rate means reduced maintenance and cleaning.
