The PT900 clamp-on flow meter supersedes the successful PT878, and builds on its usability, powerful processor and ruggedness . It benefits from a long battery life, versatility, quick clamp system and a large internal memory making it the ideal portable flow meter for a wide range of applications.

Suitable for many types of survey including:

  • Energy usage surveys - the PT900 can be combined with an energy kit to make a full energy meter for measuring energy used and lost in heating and cooling systems.
  • Leak detection and water usage surveys - the PT900 can be used for monitoring water consumption and for basic leak detection. It can also be used for checking the accuracy of flow meters of different technologies e.g. electromagnetic, mechanical and vortex.
  • Chemical dosing - to measure the dosage of chemicals. As there is no contact with the chemical, chemical compatibility or temperature does not cause an issue
