The Solinst 101 Water Level Meter is ideal for water level measurement in boreholes, standpipes and wells. It is the most accurate and reliable Water Level Dip Meter in the Solinst Range. This water level meter is very easy to operate and read to each millimetre or 1/100ft.
Choices of probe designs are available on these water level meters. On the P7 version each probe is attached permanently to laser marked PVDF flat tape which is fitted on a well balanced reel. This PVDF flat tape has increased tensile strength and improved electrical efficiency by using 6 strands of copper coated stainless steel and 13 strands of stainless steel in each conductor. The P7 pressure probe is submersible to 300 m (1000 ft) and has the sensor mounted at the tip to provide consistent accuracy.
The P2 probe version has a simple design which is easy to clean and hangs straight in wells. The P2 probe is mounted on a heat embossed polyethylene tape which is easy to repair.
A 9 volt battery housed in an easy access battery drawer powers the meter.
