Overview

The Siemens SITRANS LR560 radar level transmitter is a state of the art, 2-wire, loop powered instrument for continuous solids level measurement. The LR560 radar transmitter provides a measurement solution for levels of virtually any solids material to a range of 100 m (328 ft).

It is suitable for mounting almost anywhere in your tank or silo due to its narrow 4° beam.

The Siemens SITRANS LR560's plug-and-play performance is ideal for most solids applications, including those with high dust levels and extreme temperatures to 200°C (392°F). The instrument has a unique design which allows simple and safe programming using the Intrinsically Safe infrared hand programmer, with no need to open the transmitter's lid.

An optional graphical local display interface (LDI), with push buttons, is available to improve setup and operation using an intuitive Quick Start Wizard, and echo profile display for diagnostic support. The Quick Start Wizard makes start up easy, as only a few parameters are required for basic operation allowing the user to have the transmitter up and running in minutes.
