Overview

The MASS 2100 DI 1.5 Coriolis mass flow meter is suitable for low flow measurement applications of a variety of liquids and gases. A "plug & play" mechanical and electrical interface makes installation easy and ensures optimum performance. The mass flow meter offers superior performance in terms of flow accuracy, density accuracy and turn-down range and delivers true multi-parameter measurements i.e.: Mass flow, volume flow, density, temperature and fraction.

Design

The coriolis mass flow meter consists of a single bent tube in a double omega pipe configuration, welded directly to the process connectors at each end. The mass flowmeter is available in two configurations: AISI 316L or Hastelloy C22 with ¼" NPT or ¼" ISO process connections. The enclosure is made in stainless steel AISI 316L W 1.4404 with an encapsulation rating of IP65/NEMA 4.

The coriolis mass flow meter is available in either a standard version with a maximum liquid temperature of 125 °C (257 °F) or a high-temperature version, with raised electrical connector for 180 °C (356 °F). The mass flowmeter can be installed in either a vertical or horizontal position. It also has an enclosed single quick release clamp fitting, and this combined with its compact design and single multi-plug electrical connector keep installation time and costs to a minimum

Benefits

  • High flow accuracy (better than 0.1% of mass flow rate)
  • Densitometer performance available through a density accuracy better than 0.001 g/cm3 with a repeatability better than 0.0002 g/cm3
  • Large dynamic turn-down range better than 500:1, from 65 kg/h to a few g/h
  • Has a single continuous tube design that with no internal welds, reductions or flow splitters. This offers optimal hygiene, safety and CIP cleanability for applications in the food & beverage and pharmaceutical sectors.
  • Balanced pipe design with little mechanical energy-loss, ensures optimal performance and stability under non-ideal and unstable process conditions (pressure, temperature, densitychanges etc.)
  • 4-wire Pt1000 temperature measurement ensures optimum accuracy on mass flow, density and fraction flow
  • The market's biggest wall thickness ensures optimal life-time and corrosion resistance and high-pressure durability
  • Multi-plug electrical connector & SENSORPROM enables true "plug & play". Installation and commissioning in less than 10 min.
  • Intrinsically safe EEx ia design as standard
  • Sensor pipe available in high-quality AISI 316L stainless steel W 1.4435 or Hastelloy C22 W 2.4602 offering optimum corrosion resistance
  • Dual-drive pick-up and driver construction facilitate ultra low weight pipe construction giving the market's smallest and most stable zero point
  • The sensor calibration factor is also valid for gas measurement
  • Rugged and space-saving sensor design in stainless steel matching all environments
  • High-pressure program as standard

FAQ's

This is a FAQ Answer
Yes, the ordering process is very easy. Orders can be made via purchase order or by credit/debit card. Once we have the paperwork we can delivery next day to any location in Europe. Provided with the equipment is a quick start guide, and if you need extra support, the technical support engineers can be contacted via phone call.
Every flow meter is tested upon shipping and return as part of our ISO9001 procedure. Also, as part of this procedure, the flow meter is calibrated once a year. If a copy of the calibration certificate is needed let us know.
We are here to help. If the self-help and quick start guides do not help, then call one of our technical support engineers on +44 (0) 1527 882060. We have supplied and supported many clamp on rental installations throughout Europe.
If the stock is permitting, and all paperwork is received by 12pm then flow meters can usually be available the next day.
Without exception, all our flow meters are tested. If you need a 110v plug instead of the standard 230v plug let us know.
As long as the pipe is relatively clean, coatings or paint is usually not a problem for clamp on flow meters but if the pipe is corroded or the paintwork has bubbled then a quick sanding down with sandpaper or a wire brush is recommended.
An ultrasonic wall thickness gauge, that measures to within 0.05mm, is provided as standard with all flow meter rental packages.
The screendump facility on the integrated dataloggers on all our flow meters, allows you to photograph any screen and download it to your pc.
